I just got these last week!! If anyone is sitting on the fence about this as a gift. Sit no longer. Stand up! Stand up I say! This is such a wonderful gift combination set for princesses of all ages! The quality of the material, the cute wrap around the button tie, the cookbook filled with amazing recipes and gorgeous photos, all spiral bound for easy to read (lay it flat while baking) recipes…
Great birthday party gifts, Princess Baby Shower Gifts and more! It’s ageless. And think of it. Wouldn’t YOU want one for yourself? I know I do! I only wish they came in big girl sizes!
Note to the previous comment – the sizes were for the aprons… obviously!
Hello, i just bought the pink princess cupcake cookbook and made the strawberry cupcakes. I did not have self rising flour so I followed the recipe to make my own. then i followed the rest of the strawberry cupcake recipe excactly. The cupcake was so salty and not sweet at all. I was wondering if there was a typo in the book. It says to use only 1/2 cup sugar to cream with 1 1/4 cups butter. by the time made my own self risinf flour then followed the rest of the recipe, that totalled 3 3/4 ts salt. that is a lot of salt for only 1/2 cup sugar. and i could barely taste any strawberry at all. can you help?
Thank you,
Megan Donohue
Hi Megan,
Thanks so much for purchasing the cookbook! The self-rising flour is very difficult to replicate. and I have never had good results when I tried the recipe for homemade self-rising flour… 3 + teaspoons of salt would be WAY too much salt. & I beleive that was the problem. The recipes have been kitchen tested at least 4 times and with positive results…we all loved these strawberry cupcakes. I am sorry it turned out badly for you this time and hope that you try again with regular self-rising flour and that you have delicious results!
All the best,
Barbara
Hello,
My daughter Ava is excited to be attending a birthday party today at your shop. How do I sign my daughter’s up for cooking classes? Also, do you have any cooking camps you are offering this summer?
Thank you,
Lexie McArtor
Hi Lexie,
Thank you for your interest…we look forward to meeting Ava today. Please check out our website for the Austin retail location at http://www.kidscookaustin.com for summer camps and classes. See you this afternoon!
Best,
Barbara
Hi Barbara,
We tried the Favorite vanilla cupcake from your Pink Princess cupcake book today. It was fun and easy. Though the cupcakes ended up being dry..
I baked for 15 mins and followed all directions per the recipe taking no shortcuts. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Jill
I have all the Pink Princess cookbooks for my daughter. Now that she is getting older, I need a new book. Any chance you will be creating a “Pink Princess Campout Cookbook” for camping parties????
